Our Purpose

The Grace Church School Libraries cultivate in students a lifelong passion for reading, and instill them with confidence when navigating print and digital resources for research purposes. The library program in the Early Childhood and Lower School divisions provides students with exposure to different types of literature through read-alouds, displays and book discussions, and introduces them to basic research skills. In the Middle School and High School divisions, students are given opportunities to continue their exploration of texts, and are taught how to do in-depth research. Both library spaces are designed to accomodate those who need a quiet space to read or study, as well as those who wish to work in groups.
